Far-Infrared therapy has been proven to support fistula maturation and functioning for patients on haemodyalysis. It can also improve haematoma clearance and fistulaplasty requirements.
The emitter is positioned 20-30cm above the fistula and treatment is given for 40 minutes, three times a week.
