Far-infrared therapy has been proven to support fistula maturation and functioning for patients on haemodyalysis.
It can also improve haematoma clearance and fistulaplasty requirements.
Treatment is given for 40 minutes, three times a week, and can be given at home or in the haemodialysis centre.
